Business Development – By attending professional meetings and maintaining relationships with Pediatric and Orthodontic academic program directors, we are always actively recruiting doctors to work at all locations, as well as doctor owners to affiliate with the Smiles for Life Network and contract with D4C Dental Brands for support services.
Marketing – We work with our partner agencies and vendors to produce, purchase, and design all marketing collateral, media, and placement. We provide and protect the brand experience through proper messaging, imagery, and all front facing communications. Our team also manages all communications, public relations, advertising, social media sites, websites, and community presence, including charitable partnerships, community events, and professional referral relationships.
Purchasing – We establish and maintain performance metrics for all levels of purchasing activities. This includes, but isn’t limited to, supplier performance, supplier quality, internal order procedures, clinical product activity/usage, financial performance, and material shortage elimination.
Real Estate – We coordinate construction for any of the aforementioned scenarios, in addition to acting as the primary representative in dealings with landlords. We direct negotiations with brokers, developers, attorneys, property owners, and landlords, as well as coordinate the administration of existing leases, and oversee facility management of all D4C facilities, including physical sites, equipment, and other FF&E. We also coordinate with finance leadership in developing and executing capital activities and other related budgeting activities.
Information Technology – 24/7, we design, monitor, and maintain all data center architecture to support enterprise information systems, as well as disaster recovery planning and solutions to protect patient information. Our IT department also develops software customizations to support pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and oral surgery workflows. We also design, implement, and support information security technologies to secure patient health information and dental systems, as well as develop reporting mechanisms. Our call center staff provides support and maintenance of the telephone systems, and we also support billing with workflow automation of claims and management processes.
Human Resources – The human resources department is involved in planning, directing, and coordinating the administrative functions of the organization. It oversees talent management, the hiring of new staff, benefits administration, and employee relations. HR also consults with top executives on strategic planning, and serves as a link between management and employees.
