Dr. Coulter received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and his doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore, where he also completed his pediatric residency. He serves as Chief Dental Officer of Dentistry for Children, The Children’s Dental Sedation Center of Atlanta, and Children’s Dentistry of Charleston, and he has been honored with the Baltimore Community Humanitarian Award, as well as Academic All American at Catholic University. Dr. Coulter is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Northwestern District Dental Society, Voluntary Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children, and Voluntary Political Action Committee.
Lisa Shilman, D.D.S.
Owner of Dentistry for Children of Georgia
Dr. Lisa Shilman received her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Geneseo and her doctor of dental surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. She completed her General Practice residency at King’s County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and she completed her pediatric residency at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Shilman was awarded Resident of the Year while at King’s County Hospital. She is a published author in the Journal of American Dental Association and the International Journal of Dentistry. Dr. Shilman is board certified with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
She regularly volunteers at GMOM (Georgia Mission of Mercy) providing free dental care to children and adults in need. She also volunteers with Give kids a smile day, providing free dental care for children in need, and the Special Olympics.
Adam White, D.M.D.

Dr. White received his bachelor’s degree from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA and his doctor of dental medicine degree from the College of Georgia School of Dentistry, where he also received his certificate in orthodontics. It is there, where he was awarded the Thomas P. Hinman Dental Scholar Award. Dr. White is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Georgia Dental Association, American Dental Association, and is a Certified Invisalign Specialist.
Jennifer Berwick, D.D.S.

Dr. Berwick received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado and her doctor of dental surgery from New York University. She then received her certificate of orthodontics from the University of South Carolina. She is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and Southern Association of Orthodontists.
Rebecca Ward, D.M.D.

Dr. Ward received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond and her doctor of dental medicine degree from the University of South Carolina. She specialized in pediatric dentistry at Miami Children’s Hospital. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Jim Shealy, D.D.S.

Dr. Shealy received his bachelor’s degree from Wofford College and his doctor of dental surgery from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. He specialized in pediatric dentistry at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He is a member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has served on the Board of Directors for the Southern Dental Alliance, the Dental Advisory Board for Avesis and the Board for Advocates for Children.
Jerome Casper, D.M.D.
Managing Partner of Children’s Dental Office
Dr. Jerome Casper is the founding and managing partner of Children’s Dental Office with locations in Olney and Gambrills, Maryland. He is extremely proud and excited to be affiliated with D4C as an owner and director.
Dr. Casper grew up in Oceanside, NY and received a B.S. with honors in biology from the University of Maryland College Park. He earned his D.M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. After graduation from dental school, Dr. Casper first served as a resident in hospital dentistry at North Shore University Hospital in New York; followed by, a pediatric dental fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital and a pediatric dental residency at the University Of Maryland School Of Dentistry.
In addition to his many practice obligations, Dr. Casper is active in the training of tomorrow’s pediatric dentists. He is a member of the Deans Faculty at the University Of Maryland School Of Dentistry and a clinical instructor at N.Y.U. Lutherans pediatric dental program on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
Dr. Casper is board certified and a lifetime diplomate in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Casper and his wife, Jane, a public health dental hygienist, have been married for over 40 years and are the proud parents of three grown children and grandparents to one grandson. He enjoys working out, swimming, indoor cycling and rooting for the Washington Capitals.
Robert Martin, D.M.D.
Managing Partner of Children’s Dental Office
Dr. Robert Martin, born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y. attended Brooklyn College of the City University of N.Y. Dr. Martin earned a B.A. degree with major in Biology. Dr. Martin then attended University of Pittsburgh school of dental medicine where he was awarded the Pedodontic Award of the graduating class upon earning a D.M.D. degree.
Dr. Martin served in the U.S. Air Force after earning his reservist commission in his freshman year and was activated upon graduation. As a captain, Dr. Martin was given the position of Dental Flight Surgeon for six months then received re-assignment in Tuy Hoa Vietnam as a general dentist. During his tour, Dr. Martin volunteered to part of a “MedCap” program to offer treatment to the orphanages and remote hamlets to the children in the locations. During his one year tour, Dr. Martin was accepted into post graduate programs, accepting University of Pittsburgh as his choice to receive a MSD degree with a thesis in “Adhesives and Bracket Bonding”.
Upon graduation, Dr. Martin accepted employment in Maryland, and opened his first of four offices. He later sold three of his locations to proudly associate with Dr. Jerome Casper and Children’s Dentistry, for the past twenty years, to finally, with pride, they are both a proud part of D4CDB.
